Before we get rolling…
ALL spay neuter appointments must be confirmed with our scheduler before the appointment is complete. There are a few steps you’ll need to follow first! We want everything to go as smoothly as possible – so let’s get started.

Step 1: Find out if you’re eligible.
Let’s determine if you and your pet qualify!
YOUR INFORMATION (we’re only counting people for this part)
Visit our Pricing & Eligibility page and check out our Eligibility Chart, which is based on the number of working household members and the combined household income. Note there are 2 tiers of pricing! Tier 1 is for low income and Tier 2 is for mid income. Tier 2 not only receives an affordable spay or neuter, but they are helping others who can’t afford this service!
PET SPECIFICS (now for the animals!)
Please make sure your cat or dog is in good physical health and meets the needed criteria, also found on the Pricing & Eligibility page.
Step 2: Complete our application.
It’s easy – and all online!
If you determined you and your pet are eligible in Step 1, go to the SNAP Neuter Scooter Application and complete all the information requested.
Based on the information you provide, we’ll verify that you and your pet meet the criteria. Once eligibility is confirmed, you will move to the scheduling phase! NOTE: Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be scheduled for an appointment.
Step 3: We’ll email or call you back within 48 hours.
Due to high call volume, the schedulers are taking longer than 48 hours to call or email back. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Please check your SPAM box. If you have not heard back please contact us. Ensure your application includes the best phone number for you during business hours! We will work with you to find a time – and a location – where we can work together to get your pet spayed/neutered. View the Bus Schedule »
NOTE: Neuter Scooter Clinics fill up quickly, so we will always do our best to fit you in – both in a timely manner, and at a location that’s convenient for you.
Step 4: Prepare for your appointment.
We look forward to meeting you and your pet!
After confirming your appointment with a SNAP scheduler, review your confirmation email. Please make sure you and your pet are well-prepared – both before surgery, and after! We’ve gathered up a few Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to get you started. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to ask when we call to schedule your appointment – or Contact Us!
NOTE: MIL-SNAP now covers E1-E4 as of Feb 1, 2023 (was E1-E6). Any DOD Pet Chit (free spay neuter) application after Feb 1 is E1-E4. We apologize for any inconvenience. SNAP can still help if you do not qualify for a DOD Pet Chit.
Cancellations:
- You must cancel before 48 hours of your appointment to be rescheduled with no additional charge.
- If you cancel less than 48 hours, you can be rescheduled for an additional $10. This is to cover the cost of the $10 discount given to the “standby” that might have taken your spot.
- If you do not call or show, you can not be rescheduled.
