San Diego Gives: Support Local, Support SNAP

San Diego Gives is a local day of giving dedicated to shining a light on the incredible nonprofits that strengthen our community. While SNAP is proud to be one of many worthy organizations, our goal is not only to invite support for SNAP, but also to share the impact we’re making together.

SNAP provides affordable, low to no-cost spay and neuter services through our programs like Critical Communities, Project Homeless Connect, Tribal SNAP, and Mil SNAP. By preventing unwanted litters, we’re helping shelters, families, neighborhoods, and even those who may not consider themselves “animal people” but still benefit from a healthier, safer community.

San Diego Gives, further developed by the North County Philanthropy Council, will be recognized this year on September 11th. However, out of respect for the significance of that date, many nonprofits, including SNAP, are observing September 9th as the primary “Day of Giving.”

We are thrilled to share that a $10,000 matching gift has been pledged! Thanks to our generous donor family, every dollar donated from TODAY through September 11th will be doubled up to $10,000. That means your gift has twice the impact in saving lives and reducing pet overpopulation.
