A Special Community Education Event
SNAP is proud to partner with Lionel’s Legacy Senior Dog Rescue for a special Wellness Series event in recognition of Spay/Neuter and Dental Health Month this February.
This educational event will focus on two of the most important—and often overlooked—aspects of pet health: spay/neuter and dental care. Together, these preventative measures play a critical role in improving the quality of life, preventing disease, and reducing animal homelessness in our community.
Attendees will hear from two respected local animal welfare leaders:
-
Laura Oliver, Founder of Lionel’s Legacy Senior Dog Rescue, will share why dental health is essential for pets of all ages—especially seniors—and how proper dental care supports overall health, comfort, and longevity. Laura will also highlight Lionel’s Legacy’s Free-To-Chew Dental Clinic for dogs and cats.
-
Dorell Sackett, Director of SNAP, will discuss the importance of spay/neuter, how it protects your pet’s health, prevents certain cancers and medical issues, and plays a vital role in reducing unplanned litters and shelter overcrowding throughout San Diego County.
🎟️ Raffle Prizes
All attendees will have a chance to win exciting prizes, including:
